So here is my plan. At first my goal was to get through 8 weeks and just lose a bunch. While I still would love to do that I have changed my mindset a little. I have decided to make it a lot less daunting on myself and I am going to do this one week at a time. I have made a 52 week (sounds better than a year) calendar to put on my fridge. It is basically 52 mini goals of 2 pounds each. See it sounds better, right? In each square I will write how much was lost that week and in the bottom right corner of the square I will put my running total. I know some weeks I will do better and some weeks I won't get my 2 pounds but I am hoping better weeks make up for slower weeks.
You are probably saying that is 104 pounds. Ali you don't have 100 pounds to lose. Well I actually do. Time for the real admitting part of my blog. I hate this part. I weighed in last Sat. at 227.3 good Lord that is a big number. I am 5 foot 3 inches and for my frame and age my "healthy" weight is 121 to 135 and as you can see I am 92 -106 pounds off of that.
I am really embarrassed because I weigh more now then any other time in my life. I feel terrible, I am tired all the time, I hate clothes and getting dressed each day, I hate mirrors that show my lower half, I don't feel sexy at all, I get winded walking up one flight of stairs, my skin looks terrible, an so many other things. It is time for change!!!
So here it is......
I am going to lose 100 pounds in 52 weeks.
